Pastor Bruce B. Matthews is the Senior Pastor of Rejuvenate Your Life Through Christ Ministries. This Ministry began in 2012 right after the death of his Son although God had called him years before hand. It was a bright Sun shiny day while Elder Matthews,

( at that time) and his wife Evangelist Juanita Matthews (at that time) were at the dining table studying the Word of God when God gave him the name of the Church that they were to start.

Pastor Matthews received Christ as his personal savior in 1972 at the age of 15 in

(Jerico) known as Deptford, NJ. He entered the Armed Forces in 1975 and was retired in 1986. In 1987 he joined the Greater Promise Church where his Cousin George W. Darby Sr. was Pastor . It was under the Ministry that Pastor Matthews started receiving spiritual education, conduct and Church ethics  in the House of God.

In 1996 Pastor Matthews started attending Jameson School of Theology and completed two years of Biblical Theology. In 2000 he completed advanced Theology 1 and then in 2002 he graduated  from Jameson Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology. Now , after many years Pastor Matthews has reentered Jameson Christian College he graduated in 2018 with his Masters of Arts Degree in Theology and is now in pursuit of his Doctorates'  Degree in Theology.

Pastor Matthews is first a Servant of God, A Husband, Father, Grandfather and spiritual Father. Pastor Matthews also enjoys the job that God has given him, being a Pastor at Rejuvenate Your Life Through Christ Ministries, with his Wife Evangelist Juanita S. Matthews as assistant Pastor.

On July 1, 2012 the Doors of Rejuvenate Your Life Through Christ Ministries opened in a small rental space of the Cooper River Plaza Building where they resided. In 2013 the Pastor was invited to a soul saving crusade in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on the day before the Pastor and two members of the Church were to fly out of the Country, he was informed that he had to discontinue conducting Church services in that location immediately.

Faced with this attack , Pastor Matthews made a decision to do ministry or go find a place to do ministry; the choice was to do ministry. While on the Crusade the Lord had it all worked out, the Pastor states " He had to send me out of the Country to another Country in order to receive a blessing in this Country."

​

It was in Santo Domingo where Pastor Matthews met and became friends with a fellow laborer in the gospel who he shared his situation with, God spoke  to this Pastor's heart  and told him not to worry because when you get back you're going to hold your Church Services at the Royal Palace; we thank God for Pastor Amir Khan and Solid Rock Church .

Later we were informed that we were going to have to move from that location, but God made it possible that a door was opened up to us to host services at a house on Morgan Boulevard in Camden NJ.  We were at this location for just a moment when the Pastor struck a deal to purchase a building at 535 Liberty Street  in Camden NJ.  The Lord uncovered some things pertaining to the building and the purchase was not allowed, in fact we were informed that we had to vacate the location as well.

​

Pastor was not defeated; he went down the street to New Freedom Full Gospel Church spoke with the Pastor , Melvin Brown who without hesitation gave us time to hold services at that location. Meanwhile the Pastor was still in search for a building ; one day he saw a building on South 8th Street and dropped a note in the mail slot with his card, he did this numerous times without any response.

​

He then went to realtor who arranged a meeting to see the building and meet with the owner. Pastor liked what he saw and made an offer, the owner flatly turned it down and that was that. Months had gone by after that meeting in fact almost a year , when God instructed the Pastor to go back to that building on South 8th Street. Once again he had the same problem, trying to contact the owner.

​

One day during a conversation the owners' realtor name was mentioned and Pastor called them on spot. This time God had prepared the way and settled a deal for the Church Building Rejuvenate Your Life Through Christ Ministries located at 923 South  8th Street Camden, NJ. 08103. We thank God for our walk through the wilderness to get to  our PROMISE LAND.
